There’s really nothing like being rockabyed to sleep. As we get older, sleep and generally taking care of yourself becomes an individual responsibility. If we don’t find ourselves in a healthy mind set, even the simple things can be the most difficult. This song is meant to convey that push and pull of feeling joyous and hopeless, sometimes all at once, that I have certainly found myself in. Life slows down, the tempo drags, the sounds are messy and mysterious...then, a cure. Whether it be a person, a project, or a bottle, we all have our vices to help get us to sleep on time.
